Bees are neutral mobs that produce Honey. They are the only way to get honey, and can also get hostile if you are 4-5 blocks away from the hive they are present at. However, they barely hurt you if you get provoked. Bees will mostly spawn around hives, and by themselves in forests, jungles, and taigas without snow. You can collect honey from it by right clicking on the hive with a jar, but due to their hostile-like behavior you will need powerful armor or be able to run away quickly, despite the fact that they will hurt you half a heart. However, if you get stung by 8 or more within a short time from each other however, you will gain a status effect as well.
Appearance[]
They are almost the same size as a bat, but have a large block as a body, 2 small wings, a stinger, and 2 antenna.
Behavior[]
Their behavior is extremly strict, they almost have the same behavior as bears. They can also be hostile if you are 5 blocks away from if they are present around their hive. Despite this, they won't really cause that much damage. They can fly fast, close to the same speed as bats. They can even kill you in a way, where if you get stung by 8 or more bees, you will get the fatal poison effect, and take damage until you die.

Honey Harvesting[]
Hives are the only way to get honey and honey comb. You need either a bucket, a jar, or a glass bottle and right click on the hive to obtain the honey. Armor is essenetial for protecting yourself from the bees when collecting honey due to their strict behaivor.
Trivia[]
- Although bees, cause half a heart of damage normally, if you get stung by 8 or more bees you will have the fatal poison effect.
- Bees are similar to Bears, and Endermen, because their behaivor is extremley strict than any other mob.
- Honey, and Honey Comb can heal you if you have their version of the poison effect, but not poison from any other source.
